For an estimated 20 years, the fire truck parade has been hosted by the Clinton Fire Department and according to Fire Chief Shawn Milton, the parade features fire departments from across DeWitt County and even farther out including Lincoln and Warrensburg among many others.

Something the fire department has been advocating for many years now is a new fire station. This last Monday at the Clinton City Council meeting, the Council approved preliminary studies to be done for a new fire station and the Chief says that is something he's very excited to see get going.
