Clinton Attending Chicago Fundraiser For Quinn

Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has made a quick public appearance with Gov. Pat Quinn as he wages a tough re-election battle against Republican Bruce Rauner (ROW'-nur).

The two Democrats paid a visit Wednesday to a DePaul University bookstore in Chicago. They greeted students, ordered coffee and hot chocolate and shared small talk that included references to Clinton's recently born granddaughter.

Clinton and Quinn then headed to a private fundraiser at a downtown Chicago law firm. The fundraiser was closed to the media, and less than a handful of reporters were invited to witness the shared coffee stop.

Clinton is a potential 2016 presidential contender and native of Park Ridge in Chicago's suburbs. Quinn is one of about a dozen Democrats she is campaigning for before November.
