As heard on WHOW, the Clinton Maroons defeated the Meridian Hawks 32-13 Friday night.

For the Maroons (3-5), Alex Wheat had 11 carries for 177 yards for two touchdowns. Alec Cooley 17 carries for 116 yards for a touchdown. Tanner White 6 carries for 51 yards and also went 2-14 for 396 yards and had one interception and one touchdown.

For the Hawks (2-6), Gage Hollgarth had 13 carries for 38 yards. Clayton Sprague had 8 carries for 35 yards. He also went 2-6 for 7 yards and an interception. Dalton Collins carried the ball 4 times for 23 yards. He also had 22 yards passing for a touchdown and an interception.

Meridian turned the ball over 4 times with two interceptions, a fumble, and a muffed punt. Clinton only turned the ball over once.
