Clinton Fall Sports Standouts Recognized Tuesday Night

With most of the 2014 fall sports seasons wrapped up already, the Clinton Board of Education Tuesday night took time to recognize those who stood out this past season.

The Clinton Junior High School Girls softball team were conference champions this year and head coach Mike Bleak explains they went undefeated in conference play and finished with an overall record of 13-3. He says the girls were easy to work with and deserved the recognition they received.

A freshman in the high school ranks has set himself up for a big career in the high school's golf program. According to men's head golf coach, Randy Workman, Chase Reynolds had an outstanding season as just a freshman.

Workman says the passion and hard work Reynolds displays is something they are trying to exemplify to his team, but also to the rest of the school. He feels Reynolds is a model of what can happen when you work hard.
