Springfield Woman Held For Crash That Kills Two

A Springfield woman with a previous drunken driving conviction has been charged with two counts of aggravated driving under the influence in connection with a crash that killed two.

Bond has been set at $1 million for 27-year-old Andrea E. Little. She was also cited by Illinois State Police for improper lane usage, driving too fast for conditions, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper overtaking, following too closely and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Authorities say Little was eastbound on Illinois 125 late Saturday when her car veered off the road and back on, crashing into an auto driven by 16-year-old Danielle Allen. The teen was a Pleasant Plains High School student. Allen was pronounced dead at the scene, as was 35-year-old Steven Moore of Jacksonville. He was riding in Little's car.
