(Ottawa, Ontario) -- Patrick Sharp scored the lone goal of the shootout as the Blackhawks beat the Senators 5-4 from Ottawa. Jonathan Toews [[ Tayvz ]] scored twice while Marian Hossa [[ HOE-suh ]] and Kris Versteeg had a goal and an assist for Chicago, which has won two of three. Both wins are over the Sens. Scott Darling allowed four goals on 32 shots in the win. Mika Zibanejad [[ MEE-kuh zih-BAN-uh-zhahd ]] scored the tying goal late in the third for Ottawa, which has lost three of four. Craig Anderson stopped 35 shots in defeat.

(Ottawa, Ontario) -- Marian Hossa scored and turned in an assist as the Blackhawks beat the Senators last night. The two points gave him one-thousand for his career. He's just the 80th player in NHL history with one-thousand career points.

(St. Louis, MO) -- Jake Allen made 24 saves for his first shutout of the season and second of his career as the Blues blanked the Ducks 2-0 at Scottrade Center. Alexander Steen scored 4:29 into the game and Ryan Reaves added a third period tally for the Blues, who have won three straight. John Gibson stopped 27 shots for Anaheim, which has lost two of three since a seven-game winning streak.
