Illinois Voters Support Minimum Wage Increase

As the hotly contested Illinois races seem to be wrapped up across the state, there were several referenda on the Tuesday ballot voters got to weight in on.

The hot topic across Illinois over the past several months has been the minimum wage vote.

Democrats in Illinois have pushed raising the minimum wage to $10-per-hour and Tuesday, voters overwhelmingly supported the idea.

In almost a 2-to-1 vote, over two million voters supported the measure.
