Illinois State Beats South Dakota

 width=Marshaun Coprich ran for two touchdowns, Tre Roberson threw for one and ran for two more Saturday, and Illinois State beat South Dakota 45-26.

Coprich gained 221 yards on 33 carries for his school-record 10th straight 100-plus yards rushing performance. He gained 157 yards in the first half, scoring on runs of 56 and 28 yards.

Roberson had TD runs of 12 and 9 yards and hit Cameron Meredith on a 32-yard scoring pass for a 28-12 halftime lead. He was 16 of 29 for 226 yards and gained 71 yards on 13 carries.

Josh Burch intercepted a pass by Kevin Earl and ran 46 yards for a Redbirds' score with 9 seconds to play.

Earl passed for two TDs and ran for another and Nick Aussieker added a 19-yard field goal for the Coyotes (2-9, 0-7 Missouri Valley).

Illinois State (9-1, 6-1) held the Coyotes to 20 yards rushing and outgained them 519-315.
