Tournament organizers announced the eight-team field Thursday.
The rest of the tournament teams include Bradley, Long Beach State, George Mason, Towson and Seton Hall, which was runner-up to Northwestern in the 2011 event at TD Arena.
Virginia was a No. 1 seed in last year's NCAA tournament, advancing to the round of 16. Oklahoma State also reached the NCAAs last year.
The year's tournament features 2009 Charleston champion Miami, Penn State, Southern Cal and South Carolina.
