Blues Win; Blackhawks Lose

Jaden Schwartz scored for the eighth time this season and David Backes found the back of the net as well. Jake Allen stopped 28-of-30 shots for St. Louis, which has won five of its last seven. Bryan Little tallied his sixth goal of the year and Jim Slater also lit the lamp as Winnipeg fell for the fourth time in its last five games. Ondrej Pavelec [[ AHN-dray PAV-eh-leck ]] had 25 saves in defeat.

(Vancouver, British Columbia) -- Jannik [[ YAN-ick ]] Hansen recorded his first career hat trick as the Canucks skated to a 4-1 win over the Blackhawks in Vancouver. Radim Vrbata [[ ruh-DEEM ver-BOT-uh ]] also lit the lamp in the third for the Canucks, who have won four of six. Ryan Miller made 24 saves in the victory. Kris Versteeg scored the lone goal for Chicago, which had its three-game winning streak snapped. Corey Crawford allowed three goals on 29 shots in the setback.
