(Undated) -- Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon is one of five finalists for the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award. Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota, Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper, TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin and Arizona linebacker Scooby Wright are also up for the prestigious award. The winner will be announced December 11th. Florida's State's Jameis [[ JAME-iss ]] Winston captured the award last year.

(Tallahassee, FL) -- Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston's university hearing is over. The hearing stems from a two year old sexual assault incident for which Winston was never charged. His attorney, David Cornwell, was confident afterwards. A decision is expected in 10 days. It could be small, or could mean expulsion for the Heisman Trophy winner.

 width=>>Report: Florida Deal With McElwain Delayed Over Buyout

(Undated) -- A deal between the Florida Gators and Colorado State head football coach Jim McElwain is reportedly being stalled over a buyout. The "Orlando Sentinel" reports, after two days of negotiations, CSU has not budged on the 7.5-million-dollar buyout for McElwain. The report also says McElwain is Florida's top target and the school is not talking with anyone else. McElwain met with a contingent from Florida, including athletic director Jeremy Foley on Tuesday. The Gators are in search of a replacement for Will Muschamp, who was fired after four seasons in Gainesville. McElwain has spent the last three seasons at CSU, going 10-and-2 this year and 22-and-16 overall.
