Blackhawks Blast Blues

 width=Patrick Kane scored twice during a three-goal third period as the Blackhawks beat the Blues 4-1 at the United Center. Kris Versteeg tallied a goal and two assists and Marcus Kruger also lit the lamp for the 'Hawks, who have won four in-a-row and nine of their last 11. Antti Raanta [[ AHN-tee RAHN-tuh ]] made 40 saves in the victory. Ian Cole scored the lone goal for St. Louis, which had won its previous two. Jake Allen allowed all four tallies on 33 shots in the setback.

(Chicago, IL) -- The Blackhawks will be without starting goaltender Corey Crawford for a while. He is expected to miss two-to-three weeks after injuring his foot while attending a concert. Crawford says he took an awkward step while leaving the show and is now wearing a walking boot.
