 width=Marshall and Navy picked up wins as the bowl season continued on Tuesday. Rakeem Cato accounted for five touchdowns to lead Marshall to a 52-23 win over Northern Illinois in the inaugural Boca Raton Bowl. Cato finished his collegiate career by extending his NCAA-record streak of games with a touchdown pass to 46. Meanwhile, Austin Grebe's 24-yard field goal with 1:27 left to play lifted Navy to a 17-16 comeback win over San Diego State in the Poinsettia Bowl. Navy held on after San Diego State missed a 34-yard field goal with 20 seconds left in the fourth.

The bowl season rolls on with a pair of games on Christmas Eve. At noon Eastern, Central Michigan clash with Western Kentucky in the Bahamas Bowl. Later, Fresno State will square off with Rice in the Hawaii Bowl at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
