It sure isn't county fair weather in Illinois right now, but county fairs will draw much attention next week in Springfield.

Mercer County Fair Board President Roger Grundstrom anxiously awaiting the results of an economic impact study of county fairs. Mercer County was one of 15-county fairs statewide participating in the study last summer.

The results of the study will be released January 17th and 18th during the annual convention of Illinois county fair officials.
