Gov. Pat Quinn isn't going away quietly.

He will not be on hand for today's inauguration ceremony for the man who defeated him in November because he says he'll be walking unti his term is officialy over. Over the weekend, he vetoed a bill that would have cleared the way for bobcat hunting in Illinois for the first time in more than four decades.

He maintains bobcats are "a valuable part of Illinois' ecosystem and continue to need protection."
