>>Seahawks' Sherman Doesn't Expect Pats To Be Punished

(Glendale, AZ) -- Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman doesn't expect the New England Patriots to be punished for the "Deflategate" controversy. When asked in Arizona on Sunday if he thought the Pats would be penalized for underinflated footballs, Sherman said "probably not...not as long as Robert Kraft and Roger Goodell are taking pictures at their respective homes." Sherman was referring to the Patriots' owner and nfl commissioner, and described their relationship as a "conflict of interest".

The Pats have been under fire since it was revealed nearly all of their game balls were underinflated during last week's AFC Championship Game win over the Indianapolis Colts. While the nfl is investigating, there still has been no explanation for the underinflation.
