The interim-leader of the Dr. John Warner Hospital is pleased with the way the hospital is operating.
Interim-CEO Rex McKinney calls the hospitals performance "very favorable" and says their 3.1% operating margin is excellent. He explains as of right now, the hospital is over a half-million dollars over-budget.

McKinney is the third CEO of the city-owned hospital since May and he feels even though there's been a lot of transition, the budget always needs to be attended to. Despite the turnover, he feels the success of the hospital can be sustained in the long term.

McKinney attributes the success of the hospital to the "extraordinary skills and competencies at the management level". He feels that makes it much easier to be successful in operating a hospital.
He says they are committed to quality patient care and making sure patient experience is extraordinary.
