Governor Bruce Rauner has proposed major cuts to state agencies everywhere in Illinois, however, one local entity isn't too concerned.

Allerton Park officials say despite the Governor's proposals, the park is in good standing financially thanks to years of conservative budgeting and moving towards self-sustainability. Matt Smith with Allerton Park in Monticello says they have tried to take on more of a business model and rely on the assets they have.
