For the Maroons (0-1), they got 1 run on 2 hits, with 6 errors. Eli Logue was the best hitter on the team, going 1-3 with an RBI. He was also given the loss, as he pitched 4 1/2 innings, giving up 6 runs on 2 hits. He gave up 10 walks with 3 strikeouts.
For the Raiders (1-0), they earned 11 runs on 6 hits, with no errors. Chase Picken was given the win, pitching all 5 innings, allowing 1 run on 2 hits. He also walked 2 batters with 4 strikeouts, also hitting 2 batters. Braxton Ary helped his team to victory, going 1-2, with a double and 3 RBIs.
The Maroons will play Saturday at Heyworth to take on the Hornets.
