Long time DeWitt County Treasurer Christy Long passed Saturday morning.
Long served as the DeWitt County Treasurer for 25 years. She resigned the post earlier this year.
She is survived by her daughter, Hanna Davis Long of Clinton, brother Richard Davis of Farmer City, and sister Carol Davis of Kuttawa, KY.
Memorial service will be 6 P.M. Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL. Friends may call from 4 – 6 P.M. Thursday at Calvert Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Second Chance Pet Adoption, DOVE or the American Cancer Society.
Long was 58.
