It’s not his last day but Congressman Aaron Schock stood on the floor of the House of Representatives and said good bye.
The Illinois Republican took a few minutes to look back on his 4 terms in Congress. He never directly gave mention of the trouble that has caused him to resign from Congress rather calling it a “valley” in life.

Schock is set to leave office after about a month of revelations about spending on decorating his House office, trips on private jets at tax payer expense and questions about tax payer funded reimbursements on vehicle mileage.

Schock is set to officially resign his seat on March 31.
