Jimmy Walker Moves Up To No. 10 In World Rankings

 width=Jimmy Walker cruised to a 4-shot victory over Jordan Spieth at the Valero Texas Open on Sunday and that saw Walker break into the top-10 and up to No. 10 in the world rankings.

Walker, who now has five career victories on the PGA Tour, all of which have come over the last two seasons, moved up three spots from 13 to 10.

Rory McIlroy remained in control of the world's top spot and he was again followed by Henrik Stenson and Bubba Watson at two and three, respectively.

With his runner-up finish last week, Spieth jumped two slots to No. 4, which dropped both Jason Day and Adam Scott down one each to five and six. Dustin Johnson also rose a pair from nine to seven and Sergio Garcia held firm at eight.

Jim Furyk fell two spots two No. 9 and Walker rounded out the top-10. With Walker's ascension, Justin Rose, Rickie Fowler and Martin Kaymer all fell a spot. They are now Nos. 11-13.

Matt Kuchar, Patrick Reed and Hideki Matsuyama each stayed the same at Nos. 14-16, while Billy Horschel and Victor Dubuisson swapped spots, with Horschel up to 17 and Dubuisson down to 18. Brooks Koepka and J.B. Holmes rounded out the top-20 once again at 19 and 20.
