Habitat for Humanity Looking to Create a Strong Board

The DeWitt County Habitat for Humanity Board is establishing new priorities for this year.

Recent board transition has created a need for changes for the local Habitat. Board member Norman Emery says events such as their 4th of July 5K will be taking a sabbatical this year in order to focus on Habitat projects and building a strong board.

Habitat is looking for board members with varieties of strengths. Emery notes not all members need to be involved in construction. The board is also responsible for selecting families, public relations and coordinating volunteers.
