The Clinton Community YMCA's Camp Osage is gearing up to develop the bodies and minds of our local kids this summer.
Camp Osage provides many opportunities for Kindergarten- current 7th graders to keep active during the summer months. Rob DeLeon, with the Clinton Y, explains the camp staff will fill a child's day with a wealth of activities that are both physical and mental. There will also be an emphasis on giving back to their local communities.

Leadership is another key theme to Camp Osage. DeLeon explains the kids will take a variety of field trips during the twelve weeks of camp with a group of excellent volunteers. Several local organizations also give of their time to the Y over the summer.

The daycamp also provides a great opportunity to invest in personal relationships and giving back. DeLeon says many of the Camp Osage staff are taking a portion of their paychecks in order to donate to the Y's Strong Kids Campaign.
