DeWitt County Museum Features New Local Displays

The DeWitt County Museum has several interesting displays for guests this year featuring many local artifacts.

The Museum has put together a new World War I display which showcases items that had been scattered around the museum. Larry Buss, with the Museum, notes many of these items come from private collections of local citizens. Several donated items also comprise the new Illinois Central Railroad display.

Donors are not required to give their items to the Museum permanently. Buss says many of the artifacts are on loan temporarily and can be returned.
