DeWitt County Coroner Randy J. Rice and the DeWitt County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a single car accident that occurred around 6:03 PM May 13, 2015 at 8452 Birkbeck Road, DeWitt County, Il.
Steven W. Dawson age 62, Clinton, Il. was pronounced dead 6:45 PM at the scene. Steven Dawson was traveling south on Birkbeck road and struck a tree.
