The recent Supreme Court ruling on pension reforms passed in 2013 were never supported by Governor Bruce Rauner.

He wasn’t surprised the reforms were struck down. Rauner says it not fair to reduce pensions for individuals have already retired. His plan is to alter benefits for future work even for those employees that are already on the job.
