Milwaukee Brewers right fielder Ryan Braun and Pittsburgh Pirates center fielder Andrew McCutchen were named co-winners of the National League Player of the Week award on Tuesday.

Braun led the majors with 11 RBI last week and tied for the NL lead with three home runs. He hit .381 with five walks and posted the league's second-highest slugging percentage (.952) and on-base percentage (.481).

McCutchen batted .450 with three homers and five RBI while leading the majors with a .542 on-base percentage. He paced the league with a 1.000 slugging percentage.

Boston Red Sox first baseman Mike Napoli was named the American League Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Napoli batted .429 (9-for-21) with six runs scored, five home runs and 10 RBI over six games. Napoli paced all Major League hitters in home runs, slugging percentage (1.190) and total bases (25). Among AL batters, he finished first in RBI, tied for first in on-base percentage (.500), tied for second in runs scored and fifth in batting average.
