New DJWH Board Focused On Raising Awareness of City-Owned Facility

 width=If you ask any Clinton resident about the Dr. John Warner Hospital, almost every one is going to know where it is, but the goal of the latest Board of Directors is to raise the awareness of what happens inside the city-owned facility.

Aaron Kammeyer is the President of the Board of the DJWH, he says they want to begin to raise awareness about what services they offer. He explains they are doing this through a variety of means.

Kammeyer feels the biggest challenge at the hospital is public awareness. He points to the hospital's emergency room as what it is best known for, but he says there is a lot more to the facility than that and hopes to make the community aware of the many services available.

By emphasizing social media and the billboard, Kammeyer says those are ways they can communicate with the younger generation. He explains the youth of the community are the future and he hopes to begin tapping into the younger residents and hopes to draw them to the hospital.

Kammeyer returns to the hospital board after a few years absence. He says he will work to keep learning about the inner-workings of the hospital and wants to keep the community informed of what the Board is doing.
