Matthews to sign with Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks have reportedly agreed to terms with guard Wesley Matthews on a four-year contract.

Matthews, who is coming off a season-ending Achilles tear, rejected a four- year, $16 million deal to play with Sacramento, according to ESPN.

The amount of Matthews' contract with Dallas is not yet finalized.

The 28-year-old averaged 15.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists over 60 games for the Trail Blazers last season.

Over six seasons with Utah and Portland, Matthews owns averages of 14.3 points, 3.1 boards and 2.3 helpers over 441 games.
