Suns reportedly send trio of players to Pistons

The Phoenix Suns have reportedly dealt small forwards Marcus Morris and Danny Granger and guard Reggie Bullock to the Detroit Pistons.

The deal, which has been reported by several media outlets, will net the Suns a second-round draft pick in 2020.

This turns out to be a salary purge for the Suns, who are reportedly trying to free up money to land Portland Trail Blazers free agent LaMarcus Aldridge.

The 25-year-old Morris averaged 10.4 points and 4.8 rebounds in 81 games last season.

Granger, who has spent most of his career with the Indiana Pacers, has averaged 16.8 points in 586 games. The 32-year-old played in 30 games last season for Miami and averaged 6.3 points. Granger was dealt to Phoenix in February, but did not play a game for the Suns due to a knee injury.

Bullock, a first-round draft pick by the Clippers in 2013, was traded to Phoenix in January. He averaged 1.9 points combined in 36 games last season.
