Arrests:
On July 5, 2015 Clinton Police arrested Alena J. Stearns, 23, Bloomington, IL on two McLean county arrest warrants. Stearns was transported to the Dewitt County Jail where she was turned over to corrections personnel pending the posting of bond or extradition to McLean county.
On July 4, 2015 Clinton Police arrested Holly C. Thomas, 37, Clinton, for Domestic Battery. Thomas was transported to the Dewitt County Jail where she was lodged pending a court appearance.
On July 4, 2015 Clinton Police arrested Wylee W. VanValey, 18, Clinton, for Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis (less than 2.5 grams). VanValey was transported to the Dewitt County Jail where he was turned over to corrections personnel pending the posting of bond. As part of the same incident, a 17 year old juvenile was taken into custody for Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The juvenile was transported to the Clinton Police Department for processing and later released to a legal guardian.
