The PGA of America announced on Tuesday that they met with Donald Trump on Monday and mutually agreed to move the 2015 PGA Grand Slam of Golf from Trump National -- Los Angeles.
The Grand Slam of Golf was contested in Bermuda for the past eight years -- the first two at the Mid Ocean Club and last six at Port Royal Golf Course. Prior to that, the event was played 13 straight years at Poipu Bay in Kauai, Hawaii.
From the event's first year in 1979 until moving to Poipu Bay in 1994, the tournament was played in California, Hawaii, Illinois, Florida, Minnesota and New York.
The Grand Slam of Golf is for the four major winners each year. Martin Kaymer defeated Bubba Watson in a playoff last year.
