Madigan Wants To Avoid Working in the Extreme

There is more to debate at the Statehouse than a budget and House Democrats say they have done plenty in considering the Governor’s Turn Around Agenda.
Those items include workers comp, property tax, pension reforms among others are all up for debate. Some of those topics have been the focus of House Committee’s.

Those meetings were often skipped by the Rauner Administration and Speaker of the House Mike Madigan wants the Executive Branch to send people to participate and he’s considered taking an extreme action to get gubernatorial officials to attend.

Madigan says he and the Governor met yesterday and he “felt good” after a frank discussion with Governor Rauner.
