>>LeBron Re-Ups With Cleveland

The Cleveland Cavaliers officially re- signed forward Kevin Love on Thursday, the day the NBA moratorium on signings and trades was lifted.

The team also reportedly inked LeBron James to a one-year, $23 million contract for next season. The Northeast Ohio Media Group reports James also received a player's option for 2016-17 worth $24 million.

It was last week that Love announced he was returning to the Cavs by saying he has "unfinished business."

Also Thursday, the Cavaliers re-signed guard Iman Shumpert to a reported four- year, $40 million deal.

width=Love averaged 16.4 points and 9.7 rebounds over 75 regular-season games in his first season in Cleveland, though he played in just four playoff contests before suffering a dislocated shoulder that required surgery during the opening-round series against Boston.

The 26-year-old made three All-Star teams in six seasons with Minnesota before being shipped by the Timberwolves to the Cavaliers last August, part of a blockbuster trade in which Minnesota received reigning NBA Rookie of the Year Andrew Wiggins.

James is reportedly back after declining the $21.6 million player option for next season on his deal.

>>Lakers Trade For C Hibbert

The Los Angeles Lakers have officially come to terms with reigning NBA Sixth Man of the Year Lou Williams.

The deal is worth $21 million over three seasons, according to previous reports.

The team also acquired center Roy Hibbert in a trade from Indiana in exchange for a future second-round draft pick. The Lakers also signed forward Brandon Bass to a multi-year contract and inked second-round draft selection Anthony Brown.

The 7-foot-2 Hibbert played seven seasons for the Pacers and has career averages of 11.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game.

>>Suns, Pistons Make a Deal

The Phoenix Suns have dealt small forwards Marcus Morris and Danny Granger, and guard Reggie Bullock to the Detroit Pistons.

The deal will net the Suns a second-round draft pick in 2020.

This turns out to be a salary purge for the Suns.

The 25-year-old Morris averaged 10.4 points and 4.8 rebounds in 81 games last season.

Granger, who has spent most of his career with the Indiana Pacers, has averaged 16.8 points in 586 games. The 32-year-old played in 30 games last season for Miami and averaged 6.3 points. Granger was dealt to Phoenix in February, but did not play a game for the Suns due to a knee injury.

Bullock, a first-round draft pick by the Clippers in 2013, was traded to Phoenix in January. He averaged 1.9 points combined in 36 games last season.
