Both players played key roles on a Rangers team that won the 2014-15 President's Trophy with 113 points and reached the finals of the Eastern Conference Playoffs.

Miller, 22, set career bests with 10 goals and 13 assists while skating in 58 games last season. The 2011 first-round pick, who added eight points (1 goal, 7 assists) in 19 postseason contests, has 15 goals and 33 points over 114 regular-season games in his three seasons with the Rangers.

Fast emerged as one of the Rangers' top penalty-killing forwards and tallied six goals and eight assists in 58 games last season. The 23-year-old Swede contributed three goals and three assists in 19 games during New York's 2015 playoff run as well.

The Rangers also agreed to terms with defenseman Dylan McIlrath on Wednesday, leaving valued center Derek Stepan as the club's lone restricted free agent not under contract.
