GOVERNOR RAUNER SAYS HIS PROPOSED REFORMS, LIKE TO THE WORKER’S COMPENSATION SYSTEM AND A PROPERTY TAX FREEZE ARE VITAL COMPONENTS OF ANY STATE BUDGET THAT’S PASSED. HE BLAMES HOUSE SPEAKER MIKE MADIGAN FOR THE IMPASSE AND URGES LAWMAKERS TO TAKE ACTION.
