>>Vikings, Peterson Agree on Contract Restructuring

Following a rocky offseason, the Minnesota Vikings and Adrian Peterson have mutually agreed to restructure the final three years of his contract.

NFL.com reports that Peterson's new deal will give him more guaranteed money, while bringing down his base salaries.

The 2012 NFL MVP was set to make a base salary of $12.75 million in 2015, $14.75 million in 2016 and $16.75 million in 2017. However, none of that money was guaranteed.

Peterson's name was linked to trade rumors throughout the offseason, even as Vikings officials said they wanted him to remain with the team.

The Vikings report to training camp on Saturday.

>>Titans Sign No. 2 Overall Pick Mariota

The Tennessee Titans and No. 2 overall draft pick Marcus Mariota have agreed to terms on a contract, the team said Tuesday.

Titans general manager Ruston Webster said the deal with the 2014 Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback is "done."

Mariota passed for 10,796 yards and 105 touchdowns in 41 games for the University of Oregon over three seasons. He threw for 4,454 yards and 42 touchdowns last season, rushing for 770 yards and 15 more scores on the way to becoming the first Oregon player to win the Heisman.
