The Dr. John Warner Hospital's annual Health Fair returns Thursday afternoon after a year's absence.

Margie Gehres with the DJWH indicates this year's fair returns to the newly paved parking lot across the street from the City owned facility on White Street. Gehres says over 50 different groups and businesses will have displays set up devoted to health and wellness.

Gehres indicates they have groups from healthcare groups to DeWitt County non-profits that benefit seniors to be on hand at the Thursday fair. She feels it's not about competing, but providing residents with as much opportunity to learn about health and wellness as possible.

In addition to the health and wellness focus to the event, there will also be some displays that are for leisure purposes as well.

The Health Fair is from 5-7 pm Thursday afternoon at the Dr. John Warner Hospital Parking lot on White Street.

The Red Cross will be doing a blood drive from 3-7 pm as well.
