As heard on 95.9 FM WEZC, Dalton Groehler had 25 carries and 183 yards with 3 TDs as Cerro Gordo Bement rallied to beat Toledo Cumberland 27-12 Friday night on the road in non-divisional Little Okaw Valley play.

Leading 14-12 at the half and allowing 98 yards to Pirates tailback Keaton Titus, the Broncos defense was lights out as they pitched a second half shut out.

JR Menezes tallied three second half sacks and 61 all purpose yards and a TD (41 rushing, 20 receiving).

Frankie Foran had two incredible catches for 79 yards.

Dalton Wooldridge finished the night 5 for 8 and 115 yards with an interception, his first pass attempt of the night that set up a Toledo Cumberland touchdown.

The Broncos improve to 2-1 on the season. They are at Decatur LSA next Friday night.
