New York Knicks president Phil Jackson compared rookie big man Kristaps Porzingis to Shawn Bradley recently, and it's hard to imagine another executive doing anything like that. Knicks fans booed the pick when it was made, and Porzingis is a 20-year-old project.

Jackson has been known to try to deliver messages to his players and opponents through the media. He also seems to be past the point of censoring himself, especially when it comes to his ESPN series with Charley Rosen. Porzingis could be correct that it was a challenge, but it's indisputably hilarious that he had to say, "I'm not Shawn Bradley, you know?"

Porzingis doesn't want to be known as a mysterious European or just a skinny big guy.
