Clinton Police Department Welcomes New Officer

 width=In a rather slow Monday night Clinton City Council meeting, Clinton Police Chief Ben Lowers welcomed a new member to their staff.

Office Sean Crissey was sworn in as the latest officer join the force. Chief Lowers indicates Officer Crissey is a lateral transfer. Crissey has been on staff for roughly one week and the Chief indicates he is still in the training stages with the department.

>>The Council approved the sale of surplus property to the Heyworth Police Department.

>>The Council approved the purchase of two 2016 police interceptor utility vehicles at a cost of just over $79-thousand.

>>The Fire Department had a couple purchases approved. The first was one set of fire gear at cost of just over $18-hundred. A GMC tanker purchase for $80-thousand was also approved.
