Attorney For Kane's Accuser Says Evidence Bag 'Altered'

 width=The attorney representing the woman who has accused Chicago Blackhawks player Patrick Kane of raping her claims that an official evidence bag, purported to have contained the evidence from a rape kit, was ripped open and placed at the door of the alleged victim's mother's home with its contents removed.

The shocking twist was announced during a press conference in Buffalo, N.Y. Attorney Thomas J. Eoannou had the bag in his possession and shared pictures with the assembled media.

Eoannou said quote - "The purpose of an evidence bag is to protect the evidence items from tampering."

As a result, Eoannou hopes to get an outside law enforcement involved, be it the FBI or state police.

He added - "On behalf of my client, I will be requesting an independent law enforcement investigation by a separate law enforcement agency into how this breach could have possibly happened."
