A 50 year old Clinton man is being charged with indecent solicitation after a Decatur Police detective impersonated a 15-year old boy and allegedly agreed to meet with him.

Det. Todd Koester conducted the investigation on individuals attempting to solicit sex with people younger than 17.

The ad was posted on Craigslist by Vincent C. Peters of Clinton. Peters and Det. Koester, whom Peters believed to be a 15-year old male, communicated via email and text and according to Det. Koester, the meeting was described as "sexual in nature."

Peters was arrested and jailed Tuesday in lieu of $4-thousand bond.
