Jordan Spieth Makes $22-Million in 2015

width=Nobody has ever ended a PGA Tour season having earned $11 million in non-FedEx Cup prize money. That's still true even though Jordan Spieth won the Tour Championship on Sunday at East Lake. That's because Spieth ended with just a hair over $12 million after winning the $1.5 million first prize.

Throw in the FedEx Cup bonus cash and Spieth's 2014-15 PGA Tour season total comes out to $22,030,465. That breaks Tiger Woods' former single-year record of $20,867,052 earned back in 2007 when he won the FedEx Cup.

Spieth padded his bank account and erased all doubt about the PGA Tour Player of the Year race on Sunday as he touched off his fifth win in a year that included two majors as well as this playoff victory.

He turned 22 two months ago.
