Secretary of State To End Notification Mailings

The Secretary of State is going to stop telling you by mail that you need to get your license plate renewed.

It’s an effort to save about $450,000 a month in postage. The office says starting with November license plate renewals, letters will stop coming in the mail. Spokesperson Dave Drucker says cutting the mailing is one way that they can continue to mail out other items.
