Homecoming Week in Clinton

 width=It's Homecoming Week in Clinton.

Clinton High School Principal Jerry Wayne explains they have themed days in their building. Things started with America Day Monday and the students have come up with different ways to be creative throughout the week. Students across the Clinton district are encouraged to participate as well.

The after school activities start with a new event Tuesday. Wayne explains they are doing a "Mr. Maroon Pagaent. He indicates one of their new staff members did this in a different district and it was big hit so high school administrators have agreed to try it this year. All the after school activities culminate with the Homecoming parade Friday afternoon.

Wayne hopes the community will come out for the varsity football game Friday night. The Maroons host Warrensburg-Latham and are 3-3 on the season. With three to play, the Maroons need two wins to qualify for post season play.
