Mostly favorable harvest weather has allowed Illinois farmers to get about half the corn and soybean crops into the bin as of this week, and DTN meteorologist Bryce Anderson says mild and dry weather will continue into next week.

As we look beyond next week, Anderson sees above normal temperatures and no sign of frost into late October. That should give a boost to late developing beans in southern Illinois.
