Around 20 fire trucks from 15 area fire departments took part in the Clinton Fire Department's annual Fire Truck parade Wednesday night.

According to Assistant Fire Chief Jason Karr, Cerro Gordo was the farthest away and Kenney headlined a three-way tie for their "Best in Show" award.

The Fire Truck parade and Clinton High School homecoming events were going on at the same time Wednesday, however, Karr indicates they were able to make things work and felt the turnout was still very good along the route.
