ESPN is reporting former NBA star Lamar Odom is fighting for his life in a Las Vegas hospital after being transported there after being found unresponsive in a Nevada brothel.

According to an ESPN source, "the next 48 hours are critical," and that the Nye County (Nev.) Sheriff's Department would hold a news conference at 7 p.m. ET to update the Odom situation.

Odom was transported to a hospital from a Nevada brothel after being found unconscious according to Nye County Sheriff Sharon A. Wehrly.
